Adventures in Bologna, Bologna University & More, 9.27.14
After spending time in Milano, off to Bologna I went! First stop after disembarking at the train station without a working mobile phone? An internet cafe, of course! I choose one called Mexico – go figure!
The oldest university in Europe – Bologna, founded in 1088 ~
What’s going on here?
An air of protest….
Two Towers of Bologna… hate to be locked up in one, wouldn’t you??
These boots are made for….
The beauty shot – yeah, I almost forgot my suitcase in the boot shop. Wait, make that, I DID forget my suitcase in the boot shop! Thankfully, the people there were honest, and my suitcase was still there (intact!) when I remembered and RAN the 10 minutes back that I had just walked on my way to the train station (and leisurely stopping to take lovely photos like this one)…. whew!!
It’s days like these that make the clothes ever so much looser… (yAy!!)
An adventure-minded lass from early on, Georgia Sanders has wandered the U.S. & Europe enough to know that the Schengen Zone is one of her favorite places on the planet!
Upon returning from a 3-month stay in Florence, Italy in 2014, Georgia was inspired through what she calls a “personal renaissance” to found THIS online travel & culture magazine CultureHoney.com!
Dreams of Paris always at the top of mind, the Celtic Christian spirituality developed in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England has been winning her heart in recent years.
An outgrowth from the magazine is the recently launched CultureHoneyTouring.com. The maiden voyages for this new venture are small group pilgrimages to Sacred Ireland and Iona, Scotland!
Georgia hopes that many Culture Honey readers will be inspired to join in these journeys, commencing in September 2021!
Local film makers Dennis Haywood and James Farr are contributing to the cause of justice via film again – this time through the founding and hosting an international film festival with it’s inaugural debut this month in Pasadena, CA on Saturday, August 13th, 2022.
