Home Grown Love – A Poem by Linda “Peaches” Tavani

Vigil after Orlando Shootings

I hope to see the day
when all mankind can say “we are brothers ”
and we don’t have to fight –
because no one has the right
to hurt each other

There’s a chance we have to take
as we make a few mistakes
with deep respect we should agree
to disagree
and seek the way within

Let it all begin with Home Grown Lovin’
the kind that never dies

Home Grown Love is
the fruit from every life

Home Grown Love is
what I dream of

Home Grown Love
is real love

Home Grown Love

This is my lifelong prayer ~
